Payment terms
The first deposit equals 25 percent of the price stated on the guitar order form. Payment of that deposit insures no price increases and places your guitar in my building schedule. When I am ready to actually begin work on your instrument, I will contact you via phone, mail, or e-mail and request the second deposit of an additional 25 percent of the total guitar price. When your guitar is done, we will determine the shipping method and its costs. Your last payment will equal the remaining 50 percent of the guitar price, plus shipping and any applicable tax. This last payment is due before the guitar is shipped. All transactions are by personal check or money order. Satisfaction of CITES or any other necessary export/import regulations are the responsibility of the owner.

Warranty Information
My guitars are warranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for my life as an active luthier. I will not cover damage due to fair wear and tear, abuse, neglect, extremes of temperature or humidity, or natural disaster. Periodic maintenance is the responsibility of the owner and is a condition of warranty. Appropriate care instructions will be included with the finished instrument. Repairs or alterations not performed by myself may result in cancellation of this warranty. Transportation expenses are the responsibility of the owner.

Returns and Refunds
If the customer decides to cancel his or her order before work has commenced on the instrument, the first deposit will be returned minus a processing fee of $100. If the order is cancelled after construction has begun, the second deposit will be partially refunded depending on the progress of the work. To date, I have not had an unsatisfied customer. Should that happen, the guitar may be returned to Savage Guitars under the following conditions: The guitar must be returned in its original case, in new condition, and received within twenty-one days. If not in new condition, the cost of restoration will be deducted. Shipping must be overnight, and adequately insured. The customer's final payment will be refunded within 30 days. The first two deposits will be returned upon resale of the instrument at the originally quoted price.
